Introduction to Clinical Audit for Healthcare Workers– 1 day
This one-day training course introduces healthcare staff to the theory and principles of Clinical Audit.
Features of Clinical Audit Courses:
Courses are offered on-site to a specific group of staff or as 'open' courses where any healthcare staff with an interest in Clinical Audit can join.
All training is delivered by an experienced Clinical Audit facilitator
Each participant completes their own Clinical Audit project plan over the two days. This is an outline of the steps to be carried out in your Clinical Audit project and will help guide your project in your workplace.
Courses are underpinned by Continuous Quality Improvement principles Clinical Audit Skills for Healthcare Workers (2 days) course has received Category 1 approval from An Bord Altranais.
Courses can be tailored to meet the needs of a particular group of healthcare professionals, for example clinical nurse specialists, medical staff, allied health professionals etc. Each course participant receives a full course manual containing valuable course notes and additional support information On-going support from the facilitator is available to all course participants following completion of the course. Each course is delivered to a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 participants to maximise learning.
